Technical Sales Representative

Altern Limited is a company working in areas of Sustainability and Alternative Energy within the industrial and commercial sector.  With over 10 years’ experience, Altern has been involved in several unique projects related to the design and installation of LED Lighting Systems and Photovoltaic Systems. Other fields of expertise lie within Energy Auditing, Energy Management, Battery Storage, and Electro-Mobility. The Altern Team is currently looking to reinforce its growing team.

Technical Sales Representative

The successful candidate shall be assisting in the business development and technical sales of a variety of Sustainability related projects. They shall report to the Business Development Manager and liaise directly with clients and the internal team.  The post offers a unique opportunity for the individual to work on a range of projects across different industries that will broaden one’s horizons on the subject. The ideal candidate shall:

§   Work on sales related to Lighting, Photovoltaic and EV Charging

§   Implement company sales strategy

§   Present to prospective clients and secure sales leads 

§   Perform site visits to measure, observe and propose relevant systems and solutions

§   Perform basic design tasks and prepare technical proposals

§   Liaise with the client and internal engineering team

§   Generate proposals based on client and technical requirements

§   Perform business development, administrative and project management tasks
